Why AirMaid®
A NATURAL AND EFFICIENT CLEANER
Ozone is a gas consisting of three oxygen atoms per molecule. The gas has a short half-life due to its reaction with surrounding naturally occurring substances. In addition, it can be dangerous to inhale in high concentrations (see ozone limit values).
MANY APPLICATIONS
Ozone has long been used in industry and there are several uses. Contact us for more information.
OZONE LIMIT VALUES
-
NGV (level limit value) 0.1 ppm (applies to exposure during a working day, ie 8 hours).
-
TGV (ceiling limit value) 0.3 ppm (valid for a reference period of 15 minutes).
-
(According to AFS 2005: 17, hygienic limit values and measures against air pollution).

THE OZONE LAYER
Ozone is formed naturally in the Earth's atmosphere via the photochemical process that occurs when ultraviolet light from the sun hits and divides oxygen, converted to free oxygen and ozone. The high concentration of ozone in the lower part of the stratosphere benefits life on earth by reducing the amount of harmful ultraviolet radiation that reaches the earth's surface.
